Who we are
No More Falls — Josh's Legacy is a family-led, non-commercial and non-party-political campaign founded by Fiona Jane Garrett MCIPR. For privacy questions or requests, email fjgarrett100@gmail.com.
What information we collect
- Your name, email address and the information in messages you send to the campaign.
- Your postal address and GoFundMe donation name when you request a memorial ribbon.
- Basic technical information needed by our website and email providers to deliver, protect and operate their services.
- Aggregate visitor numbers, page views, referral sources and website performance information provided by Cloudflare Web Analytics.
We do not ask supporters to send sensitive personal information. Please do not include anything unnecessary in an email to the campaign.
Why we use it and our lawful bases
- Memorial ribbons: to match your £5 donation, arrange delivery and handle related questions. We use this information because it is necessary to take steps at your request and fulfil the ribbon request.
- Campaign enquiries: to read and respond to messages. We rely on our legitimate interests in running and advancing the campaign, provided those interests do not override your rights.
- Website security: to keep the website safe, reliable and available. We rely on legitimate interests in operating a secure campaign website.
- Website analytics: to understand which pages are useful and improve the website's reach and performance. Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics service does not collect or use visitors' personal data. Where limited technical information is treated as personal data, we rely on our legitimate interests in understanding and improving the campaign website.
Who information may be shared with
Information is shared only where necessary with service providers that support email, website hosting and postal delivery. We do not sell personal information. GoFundMe processes donations under its own privacy terms; No More Falls does not receive your full payment-card or bank details. Cloudflare provides privacy-focused website analytics and related performance services.
How long we keep it
Ribbon delivery details are kept only for as long as needed to send the ribbon and resolve any related query. Other campaign correspondence is kept only while it remains necessary for the purpose for which it was sent. Information is reviewed and deleted when it is no longer needed.
Cookies and similar technologies
No More Falls does not use advertising or marketing cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure aggregate visits, page views and website performance. The service works without cookies, and Cloudflare states that it does not collect or use visitors' personal data. Essential technologies may also be used by the website host to deliver and protect the site.
Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask for access to your information, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, receive a copy of it or object to how it is used. Where consent is relied upon, you may withdraw it. Some rights do not apply in every situation.
Email fjgarrett100@gmail.com to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
